Your parents' sacrifices gave you gratitude, grit, and a deep sense of responsibility to the people around you. Somewhere along the way, you got left out of that circle of care...

cURIOUS WHAT THIS IS ABOUT?

Together we'll create a dynamic small group oriented event to explore how our mixed cultural experiences impacted our upbringings and identities. We’ll explore themes that emerge from this great book written by Sahaj Kaur Kohli…we'll explore questions such as:

  • Can I establish my own values and embrace where I come from?
  • Is prioritizing my mental health betraying my family or culture?
  • How do I honor my ancestors and family sacrifices while also pursuing my own dreams, not the dreams of my family?
  • Will my culture and family be honored in therapy spaces ?
